CHAPTER 19
Tris comes back to the dorm to find everyone circling
Peter. Sadly no one was beating him up,
however, he was reading some dicey newspaper about Abnegation policies and the
family relationships Beatrice and Caleb had with their father. Rumors but it still hurts. After Tris and her friends get more tattoos,
they see an intoxicated Four by the chasm.
He not only flirts with death but Tris as well. Things are looking up.
Today's Topics:
Drunk Four and the Newspaper Attack
I really, really REALLY can’t stand even the mere mention of Molly, Peter, or Drew. THEY NEED TO DIE. Maybe if Tris asks Four nicely, he would “accidently”kill them. Like accidently nudging them off of the side of a cliff… J But this all goes back to the bullying issue earlier with Peter and his squad. I just feel bad for Tris that she is constantly attacked by this group, especially to the point of bringing her father and sexual abuse rumors into it. At the same time though, as a Dauntless, she has to not breakdown over this, but act courageously to either ignore them or confront them about this. Personally, I kind of hope Peter, Molly and Drew either are killed somehow or are banished to be Factionless.
The newspaper is totally false. Shouldn’t they get more than just one
so-called witness to quote things for them.
Molly just had to suggest something was up with the family life of
Tris. It’s quite ironic, considering if
you’ve read the book before. How the
rumors are flying about an abusive father when previously, this has been done
before and the rumors turn out to be true.
In this case, however, they are not.
Drunk Four is the best.
This is the first time we get to see Four unguarded and vulnerable. I actually love this side of him. Not his drunkenness but his
laid-backness. I know most of the others
are scared of him and they should be because he is their instructor but they
need to remember that he is only two years older than they are. Four needs to “let his hair down” more often.
Would you stick around Drunk Four?
