5 Words Frequently Used in YA Book Titles

Tuesday, April 24, 2018

Publishers sure seem to do this on purpose, don’t they? They tweak the title with common words we’ve all heard before. If there’s an amazing bestselling book, there’s a chance the buzz words in that title will come up time and time again. I’m not an expert on book titles, of course. I’m just a reader. However, since this week’s prompt asked to figure out the most frequently used words, I turned to my owned books for the answer.

I didn’t spend hours poring over all the buzz words of each title because ain’t nobody got time for that. So, here’s a cursory glance (which means to say, I’m totally guessing here) of the most used words in YA titles that I own. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is: Words Frequently Used in YA Titles:
